We offer one of Colorado’s most scenic excursion that begins in Twin Lakes at 9,300 feet, and peaks midway through the trip at 13,465 feet in the historic gold mining camps that surround the area.

Situated between the Mosquito and Sawatch mountain ranges, these long forgot trails snake through the remnants of the Pikes Peak Gold Rush Era. The site of the earliest placer mining camps in the 1800’s, the Dayton and Gordon Mines are just two of the areas you can explore while being surrounded by Colorado’s largest
glacier-carved lake.
